Toy Poodles Make Great Pets
All poodle varieties are basically the same and that includes the Toy Poodle. They have the same normal traits such as their gentle and sweet nature, as well as their loyalty to their owners. They are intelligent, non-shedding, elegant and obedient, and very perceptive. They are third in line after the Standard and Miniature poodle.
The Teacup poodle is the only poodle that is smaller than the Toy Poodle. A Toy Poodle can weigh ten pounds at full maturity and the standard poodle is anywhere from twenty to thirty pounds at full maturity. While the Teacup poodle usually weighs no more then four pounds. The Toy Poodle is popular because it is not quite as delicate as the Teacup poodle, but is still quite small and cuddly.
Toy Poodles are rather expensive dogs. They are so popular now that a Toy Poodle puppy can run anywhere from eight hundred to one thousand dollars. These dogs are usually carried in designer carriers and can be seen on television quite frequently. They are available in many colors and first originated in France. They are pampered pooches and can be found at many dinner parties and luncheons sitting right next to their owners.
If you wanted to purchase a Toy Poodle it would cost you between eight hundred and one thousand dollars. These dogs are considered designer dogs. Their country of origin is France and they come in many colors. Centuries ago they began working in circuses entertaining people and, therefore, their personalities as performers have evolved into what they are today.
Toy Poodles evolved having the same traits. Toy Poodles are very cute and adorable and are great dogs to have as a first pet. They are very loving and loyal dogs and make great companions for children, as well as adults.
They soon became very pampered pets, a trait which has carried on today. Considering a Toy Poodle for a family pet is an excellent idea. They are fun dogs and make great companions for kids. They are non-threatening and are very loyal to their owners. They are also very protective of children in their home.
oy Poodle is a small, but very healthy dog. They will remain healthy as long as they get the proper nutrition in their diets. Sometimes they can get a low sugar hit and a little karo syrup on your finger will take care of this problem. But if food is left out for your Toy Poodle during the day there should not be any problem of low sugar.
These are small but mighty dogs. They do need plenty of exercise any though they are small dogs. They love to sit in your lap and sleep with you at night. It is very difficult to tell these cute, cuddly dogs no to any of their requests. Toy Poodles are great fun to have around and quite the conversation piece because of their size. They are easy to care for and have a genuine personality and will be very loyal to their owner.
