There is a humane and interesting movement taking hold in the United States that finds many people are adopting a Siberian Husky rescue dog and making it their family pet which is giving the dog a second chance at life and happiness. The Siberian Husky is actually not one of the largest or heaviest of the most popular breeds of dog. They just seem to be very large because of their presence, and their close resemblance to wolves. They have the body shape, tail shape and ear shape as do wolves. Their brains are about twenty percent smaller than that of wolves and they are not physically capable of making all of the intricate facial expressions wolves can. And they are a lot friendlier than wolves.
