One way to set up this pecking order rather quickly is by rubbing their abdomen as soon as they roll over. They will have to yield to you to allow you to do this and it will bolster you as the boss of the pack in their mind. If you are recognized as the leader and you make it pleasurable for your dog, all of then your training will be much easier and faster.
